Made with Sierra Nevada, Colombia beans, the addition of goat milk creates a delicious caramel flavor with a slight tang and a lovely smooth and velvety mouthfeel.
The Sierra Nevada is a mountain range in northern Colombia, located just 26 miles from the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean coast. These cocoa beans are sourced from about a dozen farmer families. Biodiverse cacao agroforestry is practiced with the cacao trees intercropped with walnut, cedar, zapote, citrus, corn and beans. The technical expertise of the farmers is excellent; they even do their own pollination experiments to improve quality and yields.
